About me

My name is Klaudia Podkalicka. I'm a rally and racing driver. I began my adventure at age 13, participating in driving skill competitions. At age 15 I became a member of the Automobile Club of Szczecin, starting racing in rallies as a pilot or driver. I'm a daughter of Mariusz Podkalicki, three times racing champion of Poland. Together with him I run the Academy of Safe Driving – Pro Driving Team Podkalicki. Motoring sport gives me maximum satisfaction and is a continuation of family tradition. Constantly forward

My first achievement was winning the West Pomeranian Region Championship after five qualifying rounds in 2002. In Poland's Cup of Automobile Clubs I was second in Class 4. In 2006 I was the Fastest Woman in KIA LOTOS RACE CUP. A year later I was a runner-up in the German long distance races ADAC LOGAN CUP, together with Kamil Raczkowski and Darek Nowicki. In 2008, I started to prepare for the Dakar Rally as a pilot for Grzegorz Baran in a MAN truck. Unfortunately, the rally was cancelled due to safety reasons.

From gravel and mud to asphalt

In the following years I participated in Cross Country rallies, with success on the podium. In 2012 I took part in the whole cycle of Polish Rally Championships of Off-Road Cars as a member of the otoMoto Team. My achievements of that season earned me a great respect from my rivals. I was first on several special stages, and my speeds during the rallies confirmed that I'm a fighter aspiring for the top positions. Season 2013 marked my return to racing on tracks with participation in Volkswagen Castrol Cup. I haven't abandoned, however, the off-road rallies, and concurrently raced with success in the Polish OffŠ-road Rally Championships.

Dakar for the persevering

In January 2014 I went for Dakar Rally with the Poland National Team. I was responsible for administration in the team of Rafał Sonik, country's best ATV competitor. It was a great adventure and a real school of rally life on the highest level. In 2015 I started cooperation with TOTAL, my sponsor in Polish Off-road Rally Championships. With the TOTAL logo I won the title of second runner-up, Poland and Central Europe (FIA CEZ). My biggest dream is to take part in the Dakar Rally behind the wheel of an off™-road car.
